What actually helps you get motivated to exercise?
Hey folks! I’ve been trying to get more active lately — not training for a marathon or anything, just want to feel healthier and move more. But honestly, half the time I know I should exercise and still end up binge-watching instead 😅 I found an article that had some decent tips on how to motivate yourself to exercise, like setting achievable goals, finding fun activities instead of forcing boring workouts, and tracking progress so you actually notice improvements: How to Motivate Yourself to Exercise Tried a couple of the ideas this week and it actually made me lace up my sneakers more than once! Curious — what tricks do you guys use to stay motivated when you don’t feel like moving?

Nice thread! For me, it’s all about accountability. I partnered up with a friend — we send each other pics or short updates after workouts, even if it’s just a walk. Somehow telling someone else “I did it” makes it stick more than doing it alone. And celebrating little wins — like “I walked 3 days in a row!” — makes it feel good instead of like a drag.
